Sarah Braid lives and works in Upper Austria and Vienna. She studies Fine Arts (Painting and Animated Film) at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and completed her bachelor’s degree in Time-based and Interactive Media Arts at the University of Art and Design Linz. She has been working in the field of graphic design, illustration and animation since graduating from „die Graphische“ in Vienna. She deals with various forms of expression and media in visual art focusing on painting, drawing, (frame by frame) 2D animation and creating cartoons and comics.
Her animated films have been shown at national and international festivals. Alongside her artistic practice, she works as an animator, illustrator and designer on various collaborative projects.
